Hoho's Surgery

After a long year in a half waiting for an answer or solution to her back problem she's had surgery. They got her in a bit later than anticipated but, they only had to pull out the one broken bone. (I believe it was S5) She is resting and depending on how she's feeling could be home in the next few days.
  This surgery is hopefully going to bring her back some independence and relief from the constant pain. It has been hard to watch her struggle with everyday things that most of us take for granted. There will be a six week recovery before she can bend or lift. They don't want her to mess up her back. I'm hoping to have her feeling good enough to hang out with the kids again in the next few weeks.

So I know we aren't suppose to have favorites... but this little lady has been my baby since she started at Sunny Day a year ago. Thursdays her momma has to work later so she gets one on one Shan time. Sometimes this consists of going on errands around town in Heidi's van. Which by the way this kid loves... I think it must be the cool built in car seat.

The last few days we've tried potty training... (mind you she isn't quite 20 months old yet) She has done amazing! My little baby is growing up. We played outside tonight and she stayed dry the whole night! She has even made the hour in a half commute in panties and stayed dry. I must say that smile makes my day. Miss Pickles I sure do love our awesome Thursday nights!
