Week One

Wow I feel like this summer zipped by. My last year as a WSU wildcat started the 27th. I started with my Spanish second level first half.(2010) I have a break between that and my Photo Seminar in which I've squeezed in an institute class. I didn't have to work Monday which was nice. Made it so I could get stuff together for my Tuesday, Thursday classes. I was a bit spoiled during my summer classes and got use to the campus being so quiet. It seems so busy and crowded with it back in full swing.
Work is going well. It makes for a long day when I sit in classes for 3-4 hours and then go to work afterwords. I enjoy all my coworkers and will miss them after the 8th. Its off season and they just can't keep me on. It was a great summer job and I'm hoping to find something on campus. I actually have an interview set up for the 8th at 9am. Thursday was my first night class. The original professor Roghaar came out of retirement to work at a charter school. So our class was given to a younger professor. I think it'll go well but I'm a bit bummed out still.
Friday was WSU's annual block party. All the major clubs and departments set up booths. So since I only have Spanish on Fridays I volunteered to sit at Metaphor's booth for a while. Block parties rock because one can reap in the benefits of free stuff! After I manned the booth for a few hours I wandered the party. I got 3 new shirts, water bottle, food, beads, and had loads of fun! I'm looking forward to my senior year as a Weber State wildcat!!!!

Year of the Senior....

So my final year at Weber starts in less then 48 hours... The pile above doesn't include two of my poetry text books on back order, my Spanish text book or any thing I need for my seminar class. I'm excited yet nervous at the same time. Good luck senior year, and my the odds forever be in your favor...

My favorite Text Messages...

Abby climbed in the tub after mommy had dried her off and gotten her dressed...

Aiden "helping" daddy fix the cars...

Charlie is a thumb sucker!
So its hard to not be able to see Sissy and the kiddos when I'm in Ogden. Sissy is so good about sending me texts weekly so I can see what my adorable nieces and nephew are getting into. I love these texts. I show them to all my friends and roomies. They are my brag pictures. These are what she sent me this week...

FIRE, FIRE, FIRE

This summer has not been very loving in the wild fire department. Utah has seen many wild fires this hot, dry summer. Saturday morning Pops, Kev and I went to Heber to have breakfast with Heidi and her brother who was visiting from Vegas. I stayed after and helped sissy tidy her house and pick a present for a baby shower that afternoon.
As we left Heber around 2:30 we ran into this at Jordanelle resivoir. A fire had started and already burned acres of land down towards the water and towards the highway. It took Hoho and I 20 minutes to drive through the smoke. By the time we made it to Park City we smelt smokey and were coughing something fierce. It never jumped the highway and we are thankful they got it under control. It makes for some nasty air quality though...

Amykins!!!!

Amykins came up to look for housing for the 2012-2013 school year. She was my roomie for the 2011-2012 school year. It was fun to talk and laugh our heads off again! I hope she finds somewhere close so we can have nights of goofing off and more funny memories. She was a great roomie to spend my first year away from home with. Love ya Amykins!

Ye Old Cupcake....

So to celebrate being done with summer semester Paige and I went to this amazing cupcake place in the junction. The junction is an amazing place just a few blocks north of historic Ogden. It has stores, restaurants, movie theater, and much more. So with excited faces and salivating tongues we made our way to this divine little bakery. Horrah for two week breaks from studying and brain cramming!

Visiting the Ducks

our turducken. Proof they do exist...

So Paigie  and I decided to go for a picnic and explore Bous pond. a fun little secret above Weber State. I have a feeling will be visiting this frequently...
We enjoyed eating our sandwiches by the pond and naming and talking to all the ducks...

Roomie Adventures

So Hails has been talking about these for days! So Paige and I had bananas and sent Hails on a quest for the pb and chocolate chips. We try to do stuff together a few times a week. These were so easy and extremely tasty!

Week Fourteen

I have one week left of my summer semester then two weeks off before I start my last two semesters at WSU! Just three more papers and a take home final. Then I will have made it through my crazy summer semester of hybrid classes. (never again. moves so fast!)
Work is going well. I can't believe how fast summer is zipping by. The other work study isn't staying in the Fall. So it'll just be me. I'm not sure if I'll stay the whole semester. Just depends on my homework load. I want to try to keep it as long as possible. I'm excited to start up my senior year as a wildcat!

Collage Fun

So we all know how easily distracted I am. Especially when I'm avoiding something like homework... So I made some brag collages of my three little B's!

Way easy and way too much fun! Ah I love these kiddos!!!
