Swiss Days

So Labor Day weekend is upon us and that means the annual Swiss Days! A few years I go I started helping Heidi with the booth. Mama Mayleen (as we all call her at Sunny Day, the daycare my sister Heidi owns) ward is in charge of the drink booth. So we get in our Swiss Day garb and serve a busy square beverages and ice cream.
The money all goes to support the LDS Church missionary fund. So Heidi and I save our money and spend generously while there. The most memorable thing was getting to meet President Octdorf and his sweet wife. All in all it was a wonderful weekend!

New Job

I've been actively job searching for five months. back in the beginning of July I called up my sister Heidi and asked her if I could put her down as my home address so I could apply for Wasatch School District. So I applied. I was hoping to get at least an interview seeing how all the interviews I'd had in Salt Lake left me feeling frustrated and stuck. So a few weeks ago Heidi asked if I would sub while a teacher was out of town.
  So I got a couple of calls from the district and by today I was given a full time job of 27.5 hours a week working with Kindergarten through fourth grade. I'm so excited to start and get to know all the staff and children.

 Sissy came to the lovebirds reception and beat Heidi and I there. They were all dressed so cute. I was so excited to see them. I went through the line twice so that Aiden and Hermione could give Uncle David and Aunt Becca a hug.

She was so excited about her new dress and being able to see David and Becca. I've been busy the last week in a half and I've missed this little Bo!

He looked so handsome in his little suit! he was excited to see papa Pete and everyone else. He totally warmed right up to Heidi and many others.

She was so excited about her butterfly clip and coming with Auntie to see the bride and groom. I love my little diva bean!

Baby Bee (Charlotte Shannon) 

Ah my little bumble bee. She had a blast giving everyone a high five. Also stealing mommy's ice cream. It was so fun to see these cuties!

Goofing Off...

So David's birthday was today and we decided to have a family gathering. So we invited Becca and her family over for a birthday party. One should never leave your phone unintended in this family. Rachie and I took this lovely pic and posted it as Becca's new wallpaper on her phone.
  It was fun to have everyone together before the big day and her family is so much fun. I can't wait o have more family functions and make new memories!

 I promised Becca that I would take her bridals. So with everything going on the last few weeks the one Saturday free was the last one before they hitched. So a plethora of gals met at the house and we watched Terri do her hair and then we caravaned up to Silver Lake. We had Rachel, Sara, Terri, Laurel and Shalyna. Laurel was the other photographer and Shalyna came to help me lug around all my supplies.
